Welcome to the Otumoetai Church of Christ Website.
The Otumoetai Church of Christ is a family of young, old and in-between! It is a place where you can expect to find love, care, acceptance and support.
Being part of a family, church, and wider community, we desire to help build stronger homes and lives that will, in turn, build a stronger community and country.
Have you attended a church before, or is this your first time? All are welcome! You can read about us on this website, but our invitation to you is, “Come and See”!

Sunday Schedule
9.30am Family Worship Each Sunday
Worship takes place in the main auditorium. Please park in the parking lot at the rear of the church building. The entrance is there, through the double doors.
Included in this worship time (and in no particular order) is acapella singing, daily notices, scripture reading, communion, offering (including coins for kids – collected to help other children in need) and a sermon based upon the current series being studied at church. There is no particular dress code or requirement, as we consider this to be a gathering of our entire church family.
Church Office
The church office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am-1pm. Please park in the main parking lot at the rear of the church building and not on the Ngatai Road side. The office entrance is from the parking lot.
What We Value…
Jesus
“We value how Jesus displayed love, leadership, acceptance, and sacrifice throughout his earthly journey. We are compelled to live to the standard Jesus set and to let our lives reflect his story.”
Outreach
“We value the men, women, and children who need to know Jesus Christ. We desire to share the Gospel and proactively show love and compassion to people in Tauranga, NZ and the World.”
Transformation
“We value the way peoples’ lives are continually transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. God’s grace and mercy allows humanity to live forgiven, free and fearless lives within God’s intended plan for all people to be restored to Him.”
Community
“We value our diverse community and relationships. We believe it’s essential to constantly reach for our full potential in Christ together through communal prayer, worship, studying scripture, and sharing our stories. We aspire to equip all ages to utilize their spiritual gifts to serve each other.”
